Oste ferry terminal

The ferry pier on the Oste in Gräpel is a destination for excursionists and visitors to the local shooting festival. Located in the middle of a natural idyll, the jetty has now been made accessible for the small pedestrian and bicycle ferry "Püttenhüpper" of the "Geesthof" holiday park in Hechthausen, thus connecting the districts of Stade and Cuxhaven for tourism. A large lakeside terrace with a view of the river will serve as a seating area in the future and can also be used to line up shooters and as a backdrop for group photos of clubs.

Im Uferbereich der Oste leben aber auch viele Tiere und Insekten. Bei der Beleuchtung des Anlegers stand der Tierschutz und das Konzept „Dark Sky“ deshalb von Anfang an im Mittelpunkt der Planung. Die direkt in den Handlauf des Geländers integrierten LEDLUX LED-lines von InstaLighting zeichnen sich durch hervorragende Entblendung und präzise Lichtlenkung aus. So kommt das Licht nur dorthin, wo es hin soll und lässt den Lebensraum von Tieren unberührt. Gleichzeitig sorgt das Licht für ein Maximum an Sicherheit und sorgt in den Abendstunden für eine magische Stimmung am Fluss.
