InstaLighting: Where light creates new possibilities
Have you gained some initial experience in sales and are now looking to take the next step? Would you like to build client relationships, support exciting projects, and learn how to sell innovative solutions that make a tangible impact?
At InstaLighting, we have been developing intelligent lighting solutions for cities, architecture, and infrastructure for over 30 years. To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a Junior Key Account Manager (m/f/d) who will work alongside our experienced Key Account Managers to support clients, drive projects forward, and gradually take on increasing levels of personal responsibility.
Your tasks::
You will assist in expanding our network of lighting designers, architects, specialist planners, general contractors, and distribution partners, and—following an initial onboarding period—you will take on your own clients within your sales territory.
You research and identify new lighting projects and manage them together with your Senior Key Account Manager—from the initial project idea and the tender process through to completion.
You will learn how to strategically position our lighting solutions with planners and decision-makers in order to secure projects for InstaLighting as early as the planning phase.
You actively work the market through customer visits, presentations, and networking—initially in tandem, and increasingly independently.
You prepare and follow up on proposals, project documentation, and client meetings, and maintain client and project data in the CRM.
Du arbeitest eng mit Lichtplanung, Innendienst, Projektmanagement und Produktmanagement zusammen und sorgst für einen reibungslosen Informationsfluss.
You will assist with product presentations and training sessions for customers, planners, and sales partners, and—as you gain more experience—will go on to conduct these sessions yourself.
You contribute to revenue and growth in your territory and gradually take on responsibility for your own sales targets.
Your profile:
Successfully completed degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, Architecture) or comparable commercial or technical training.
Initial professional experience in the sales of products requiring explanation within the lighting or luminaire industry
Interest in project-based business and in collaborating with lighting designers, architects, and other project stakeholders
Technical understanding and an enjoyment of familiarizing oneself with products and applications
Strong communication skills, a confident manner, and enjoyment of interacting with people
Personal initiative, a willingness to learn, and a structured approach to work
Willingness to travel regularly for business
Proficiency in using standard Microsoft Office applications; initial experience with CRM systems is an advantage
Class B driving licence
What we offer you:
A structured onboarding process with an experienced Key Account Manager as a mentor by your side
A clear career path to Key Account Manager (m/f/d) with responsibility for a specific territory.
Exciting projects in the fields of architecture and lighting
Flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and an open corporate culture
Modern working conditions with flexible working hours and mobile work options
Attractive remuneration including performance-based components
Individual professional development opportunities, e.g., product, lighting, and sales training
A modern company car that you can also use for private purposes
