InstaLighting: Where light creates new possibilities
Does sales success mean more to you than just revenue? Do you want to build long-term customer relationships, oversee challenging projects, and sell innovative solutions that make a tangible difference?
At InstaLighting, we have been developing intelligent lighting solutions for cities, architecture, and infrastructure for over 30 years. To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) who will delight our customers, unlock new business opportunities, and help us shape the future of intelligent lighting.
You are responsible for:
The strategic expansion of our network of lighting designers, architects, specialist planners, general contractors, investors, and selected sales partners in your sales territory.
The early identification, development, and successful management of demanding lighting projects – from the initial project concept and the tender process through to successful completion.
Targeted positioning of our lighting solutions with planners and decision-makers in order to secure projects for InstaLighting as early as the planning phase.
Active market development through regular customer visits, presentations, and networking, as well as the continuous expansion of sustainable business relationships.
Managing and further developing our national sales partners, as well as jointly developing new market and project opportunities.
Independent management of complex sales projects in close collaboration with lighting design, internal sales support, project management, and product management.
Conducting product presentations, technical training sessions, and sales training for customers, planners, and sales partners.
Responsibility for revenue, growth, and the sustainable expansion of our project business in your sales territory.
Your profile:
Successfully completed university degree or comparable commercial or technical training
Several years of professional experience in the sales of capital goods requiring explanation – ideally in the lighting, electrical, or construction industry.
Experience in project business and multi-level distribution – involving both channel partners (e.g., wholesalers) and direct business with fabricators, general contractors, and public-sector clients.
Understanding decision-making processes in the project business, as well as collaboration with lighting designers, architects, and other project stakeholders.
Strong sales and consulting expertise
High level of initiative and entrepreneurial mindset
Willingness to travel regularly for business
Proficiency in using CRM systems and standard Microsoft Office applications
What we offer you:
A key position of responsibility
The opportunity to actively help shape markets and build sustainable sales partnerships
Exciting projects in the fields of architecture and lighting
Flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and an open corporate culture
Modern working conditions with flexible working hours and mobile work options
Attractive remuneration including performance-based components
Individual opportunities for further training and development
A modern company car that you can also use for private purposes
