You are responsible for
Development and implementation of procurement strategies for one’s own area of responsibility
Monitoring market trends relating to purchased components within our lighting portfolio, as well as selecting, evaluating and qualifying a stable and reliable pool of suppliers
Carrying out all relevant procurement activities, including preparing requests for quotation
Evaluation of proposals in collaboration with the specialist department throughout the development and production phases
Conducting price and contract negotiations and selecting suppliers
Close cooperation with all internal departments
Active involvement in shaping and continuously optimising procurement processes and costs
Management of procurement projects
Conducting supplier evaluations, including the implementation of resulting measures
Your profile
Completed commercial training
Several years' professional experience in procurement
Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with SAP would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills, strong negotiating skills, and a confident manner
The ability to work independently, commitment, reliability and flexibility
Ability to work in a team
Excellent written and spoken English
