Berliner Allee 26 in Düsseldorf is one of the most prestigious and central addresses in the city. The parallel Königsallee - or Kö for short - is known worldwide as a splendid shopping and entertainment mile. The representative business building at Berliner Allee 26 fits perfectly into this stimulating environment after partial renovation and facade conversion - and at night it likes to glow red and white. For Insta the motto was: outdoor lighting from a single source.
From control systems and programming to installation, every lighting solution and service for this Düsseldorf project was provided by InstaLighting. The objective: following its renovation, the building’s façade was to be further enhanced through high-quality backlighting of the new glass panels. Furthermore, every single luminaire positioned behind these panels had to be individually controllable in real time. InstaLighting created a standout feature using two custom variants of the LEDLUX RGB and LEDLUX TW series — both housed within fully encapsulated stainless steel casings. By night, these dynamic color-changing lighting elements project fascinating visual sequences across the façade: for instance, the Japanese flag or the flag of North Rhine-Westphalia is displayed at intervals, or the entire building glows in red and white — the official colors of the city of Düsseldorf.
