The Leonhard Weiss Group employs more than 6,000 people in road construction, infrastructure, heritage conservation and civil engineering, and is one of Germany’s largest construction companies.
As part of the redesign of the outdoor area at the company’s premises in Satteldorf, a stone wall was erected and highlighted using a lighting solution in the yellow hue of Leonhard Weiss’s corporate identity. To match the colour tone precisely, OGL1 1060 LED-lines from InstaLighting in an RGB version with KNX lighting control were used. The barely visible housing components of the OGL1 make the luminaire virtually invisible during the day. At night, the light emphasises the exceptional quality of the wall’s material and highlights the natural textures of the stones. The minimalist luminaire was combined with a drainage channel, together forming a visual unity and a counterpart to the glass façade opposite. The vandal-proof housing withstands the highest levels of stress and guarantees simple, tool-free maintenance.
OGL1 in-ground lines are based on Elements, the modular technology platform from InstaLighting for maximum demands on light quality and flexibility in planning. High-quality lighting tools can be configured for every imaginable application from a modular system of optics, lamps and electronics.
