The centrepiece of the staging is a wall-high showcase in which chef Marco Müller's most important ingredients are displayed in large glasses. The lighting design reflects the high quality and subtle quality of the gastronomic concept and puts the interior design materials of dark walnut wood and translucent textiles in the right light.
Natural stone walls with a rough textured surface visually connect the upper and lower floors of the restaurant.
LEDLUX optics LED strips by InstaLighting are discreetly installed within the walls, and their asymmetrical design creates a dramatic effect on the stone wall. All the lights in the restaurant emit a warm white light at 2,700K and can be dimmed to create the perfect ambiance for any occasion.
By the way, Rutz is the only three-star restaurant with a woodlouse on the wall. But that’s another story, which you can read about on the website of the architects at Weinmiller Grossmann.
