Leonhard Weiß administration building, Satteldorf

With more than 6,000 employees, the Leonhard Weiss Group is active in road construction as well as in the areas of infrastructure, monument protection and civil engineering and is one of the largest construction companies in Germany.

As part of the redesign of the outdoor area of the company building in Satteldorf, a stone wall was erected that was set centre stage by a lighting solution in the yellow tone of Leonhard Weiss' corporate identity. In order to precisely match the colour tone, OGL1 1060 LED-lines from InstaLighting in RGB version with a KNX lighting control system were used. The barely visible housing parts of the OGL1 make the luminaire almost invisible during the day. At night, the light emphasises the special material quality of the wall and highlights the natural structures of the stones. The minimalist luminaire has been combined with a drainage channel, which together form a visual unit and a counterpart to the glass façade opposite. The vandal-proof housing allows the highest loads and guarantees simple, tool-free maintenance.
